July was IVDD Awareness month, and I’ve been working on a very special project.  This is the first in a series of infographics about Intervertebral Disc Disease in dogs, a topic very close to my heart because two dogs in our family have it.  My dog recovered completely from his first herniation and is still recovering from his second, both times using conservative methods. 

The series will get into some specifics such as symptoms, conservative treatment versus surgery, medications, after care and prevention, all in a way that I hope will be easy to understand and not overwhelming.  Stay tuned.
